Event Spotlight: Reflections from the 3rd Annual Growth Summit

Stepping into a room filled with over 150 incredible women at this year’s Growth Summit was nothing short of inspiring. It was a day filled with connectionlearning, and personal growth—one that left me with so much to reflect on.

This year’s event featured an amazing lineup of speakers, with powerful main-stage sessions and specialized breakout pods covering Faith, Business, Wellness, & Women’s Empowerment. I had the opportunity to attend three breakout sessions that truly resonated with me:

✨ Dr. Ruth Bomar, PhD – ADHD Coach
Dr. Bomar’s session was eye-opening in understanding how ADHD affects adults, especially in business and daily life. She shared strategies for harnessing strengths rather than feeling limited by challenges, and it was a refreshing perspective on working with your brain instead of against it.

💰 Alison Reeves – Money Mindset Coach
Alison broke down the emotional and mental barriers that often hold us back from financial success. Her approach to money mindset wasn’t just about numbers—it was about beliefshabits, and shifting the way we see ourselves in relation to wealth. A true game-changer.

💪 Heather Hartman – Personal Safety Expert
Heather’s session was a much-needed reminder of the importance of situational awareness and personal safety. As women in business, we often focus on strategy and growth, but ensuring we’re confident and prepared in any environment is just as crucial. Her practical advice was something I immediately started implementing.

Each speaker, in their own way, emphasized the power of mindsetstrategy, and awareness in creating lasting success—whether in business, personal growth, or everyday life we have to be willing to learn, adapt, and take action.

If you’ve never attended a Growth Summit, I highly encourage you to mark your calendar for April 24, 2026. This was my first year both attending and helping to plan the event, and I can confidently say—you won’t want to miss the next one!

Six months ago, I stepped out of my comfort zone and walked into a room filled with women in business at a networking event called First Mondays, hosted by Lori Gasca.
