For a little more than a decade, I have always been an “early riser“, thanks to my internalalarmclock. I just finished reading “The 5 AM Club” by Robin Sharma, and now I finally have a guide on how to take advantage of the early start to my day and be successful and productive.
After reading “The 5 AM Club” by Robin Sharma, I’ve gained valuableinsights into the power of waking up at 5 AM and establishing a transformativemorning routine. Sharma’s book blends personal development advice with a compelling story, emphasizing the importance of dedicating the first hour of the day to activities that nurture the mind, body, and spirit.
I finished reading the book about a week and half ago and immediately began trying to implement the 20/20/20 method. This method involves spending the first 20 minutes exercising, the next 20 minutes reflecting or meditating, and the final 20 minutes learning or growing. It’s a powerful routine that has already started to enhance my productivity and overall well-being. By incorporating these principles into my mornings, I’m setting a strongfoundation for a successful and fulfilling day. I wouldn’t say I have this down perfectly just yet, but I’m looking forward to continuing this method and some of the others in this book to “own my morning and elevate my life”!
I highly recommend this book! I’ve put the link below, if you’re interested in buying a copy for yourself from Amazon!

I’ve not always been the biggest reader, but last year I found several books that captured my attention. This year, I signed up for Goodreads to help me track my reading. I have really loved the feature for setting goals or challenges. Given my, not so great, history of actually finishing books, I opted for 12 books this year, thinking I could handle one book a month.
Upon starting my most recent book and adding it to my list, I see that I am well on my way to accomplishing my goal for 2024. In fact, I am ahead of the game and should accomplish my goal very soon. Be sure to click the button below to check out my profile. You can take a look at what I’m reading and where I’m at with my goal. You can also add me as a friend if you sign up for a free account!
